Fifteen people turned up to join in on the East Mendips Horseshoe and Hedgerow Survey Project last night, held at Somerset Earth Science Centre in Stoke St Michael.. All enjoyed the training session on bat detecting, and especially the chance to use their ears bat detecting at Holcombe Old Church nearby. Many Soprano Pipistrelles and Lesser horseshoe were seen and heard emerging from the church, followed by a short walk in Loocombe Woods to hear the myotis bats there. A very enjoyable evening. Thanks everyone who joined in 🙂
