Help us protect Bats in Somerset by joining us!
It costs just £5 per year, per household, to become an annual member of SBG. Unwaged and full-time students are free.
If you join in one year, your annual membership will run until the next AGM in late April of the following year.
Alternatively, you can become a lifetime member of the bat group, for a one-off subs payment of £50
By becoming a member you will be:
- Added to our group email list, so you will be first to hear about all our events (these usually book up quickly!).
- Covered by our third-party insurance and hence be able to attend group events like bat box checks, bat trapping, and cave or roost visits.
- Helping us, help Bats!
You can become a member online. Simply:
- Send us your membership subs (payment details below).
- Then fill in the online membership form below.
For existing members, to renew your membership:
- Send us your membership subs (payment details below), or let us know you are eligible for free membership. Then,
- Either, if nothing has changed, simply send us an email to let us know you have paid, or that you are still eligible for free membership.
- Or if you need to update your details, re-complete the online membership form below.

First pay your subs by Bank Transfer (preferred), Paypal or Cheque/Cash.
Then please complete the SBG membership form below.
