2022 Somerset Field Survey Results
The first year without a big Covid-19 impact but numbers are down. With one less field survey than last year 2021, and under a third of the recent peak in 2019.
- 1 Survey recorded noctule, one did not (-1 on the previous year, -5 on 2019)
- 2 Surveys recorded serotine (-1 on the previous year, – 5 on 2019)
- 2 Surveys recorded common pipistrelle (or Pip.spp.) (-1 on the previous year, -4 on 2019)
- 1 Survey recorded soprano pipistrelle, one did not (-1 on the previous year, -5 on 2019)
2021 Somerset Field Survey Results
The Covid-19 pandemic again had an impact on surveys, with similar numbers to 2020.

- 3 Surveys recorded common pipistrelle
- 2 Surveys recorded soprano pipistrelle (or “unidentified pipistrelle)
