Important Covid-19 updates and requests for help – 30th July 2020
In this message we have lots of updates from the BCT, including important news on the effects of Covid-19, and a request for Imperial Collage for fresh bat droppings to help investigate the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 in animal faeces.

Our virtual AGM process, and BCT Covid-19 info – 31st March 2020

Exciting 2020 survey news, fundraising and membership due – 31Jan20
We had a committee meeting recently and discussed two exciting potential Bat Group projects for 2020!
Working with the Dorset Group, on radio tracking Bechstein’s bat in mid Somerset as part of the "finding its limit" project.
In the north of the county, a large scale, two year, landscape survey of the Mells Valley SAC bats using low cost static recorders (Audiomoths)
Sunday 19th Jan 2020, the Hibernacula visit day!
It seems 19th Jan is the day when group members across the county come out of their post holiday hibernation, and decide to visit other hibernacula!
