Over 100 people attended Dave's Walk for SWT in Wells on 27th August 2019.

New record number of Bat detectors, for Somerset

Despite damp weather there was a huge turnout for Dave's Walk at the Bishops Palace in Wells on Tuesday.  The annual walk for the Somerset Wildlife Trust is always well attended but this year the estimates range from 80 to 100 adults, with at least half as many children again.

SBG newsletter late July 2019 – Surveys, conferences and awards

There is lots going on at the moment, with the NBMP Field Surveys just finishing, and the British Bat Surveys underway.   The Waterways surveys are due to start soon, and the Bats in Churches survey has kicked off, so there are lots of chances to get involved.
